Too many bangs

A mild day so we went to Sea wood A lovely walk and still plenty of Autumn colour. Fletch likes it as we can trust him off the lead.

Bonfire night started early round here..before dark so no teatime walk. He wasn't too distressed but was very clingy and spent a  lot of time wedging himself between my legs and the armchair for security. The fireworks were particularly loud this year. They all seemed to be exploding over our house . It certainly felt like this. Such a shame. I've seen some wonderful displays over the years.. Tivoli Gardens, a small village in Germany which had the most spectacular display ..and of course New Year's Eve on the telly ..but  what is spoiling it nowadays is that the emphasis for locally bought fireworks is that they have the loudest bang possible. 

Fletch wouldn't go out.. Amazing bladder control for over 8 hours . When I finally coaxed him out at 11 tonight he was just have a wander in the garden when there was a massive bang! I just hope that's it now...until Dec31st.
