Special Delivery

I had a much better night’s sleep and the pain in my foot after my cortisone injection is lessening. I actually got showered and dressed today, though I tried to stay off my feet and didn’t go anywhere. I hated to miss church, especially on Remembrance Sunday, but I love that our church has a webcast of the services so I was able to watch from home.

This afternoon a friend came over for a cup of tea, and right before she arrived these two lovely neighbours kids came over to offer me some home-made Christmas (!!) cookies!! They’d been baking all morning and were doing the rounds to different neighbours to share them! Aren’t they great kids?? I chose 4 and my friend and I DID enjoy them!
