Christmas is coming.

Ever since the girls have had homes of their own Clickychick has bought them each a Christmas Tree Bauble.  Hayes garden centre in Ambleside tends to have a good selection and different from other local garden centres.  So today was the day for our annual pre christmas visit.

Like most shops these days garden centres start Christmas soon after Easter (well it feel like that but I suppose it is late September early October).  So the place was in full Christmas mode.  They certainly don't stint on their displays which include a 10 or 12 ft (3 m) Polar Bear.

It would appear Santa is being affected by global warming like everybody else.  No a sign of a reindeer or sleigh.  Not enough snow these days.  Instead he seems to have moved into the early 20th century and travels by steam train these days.
