Frosty...

...came through last night, but I didn’t realize it until we went outside this morning & I saw all the leaves coated. We didn’t have time for me to go back in and get the camera as I had to get Tom to his appointment so I was a little disappointed. I dropped him off at the hospital then headed over to visit my aunt, as her assisted living place is only about 10 minutes from the hospital, & as I backed into a parking spot there I realized that the sun had just barely cleared the roof of her building, so the grass & leaves behind the parking area were still coated with frost. I grabbed my phone and knelt on the curb to take some pictures—all hunched over—& then headed into the building, where a nursing assistant was on her way out. She said she’d been coming out to check on me, as one of the residents was watching out the window & thought I’d fallen, so called for help! I couldn’t stop laughing! I said it was really nice to know someone would have come had I been hurt, but that I’d just been taking pictures. My aunt & I had a good laugh about it too, & we had such a nice visit. She was disappointed that I only stayed an hour but Tom had texted that he was done with his chemo, so I told her I’d come again tomorrow after I dropped Tom off for the last appointment of this session. Got home & Mae helped me make lunch, then a run to Walmart & now on the couch watching the Wisconsin/Purdue game. Hope you’re all having a great weekend! :))
