Future Promise

My Shropshire friends have a super garden, packed with interesting plants ranging from relatively common through to very rare.  It's quite definitely the low season now but there was still plenty to catch the eye.   This budding Rhododendron macabeanum is packed with the promise of good things to come.  

My short break here was meant to be some down time but today ended up rather admin oriented.  Plenty of ticks on the list and very generously C & I have offered to help by moving furniture across from Norwich in their big van.   Good friends, a recurring theme.
