Chatting to the council

A wretched wild, wet and windy day again today! Had a meeting this morning with a guy from the Woodland Trust and then this afternoon five of us from the Community Council attended a public drop-in session with folk from the council's Planning Dept, to discuss the latest Development Plan for Oban and round about. Hundreds of new houses proposed, new relief road, more and more development and spreading out of the town. Sounds horrendous, but some people think it's wonderful!

We'll see.
