The year ahead

Another dank and gloomy day here, but at least it's not raining or windy! Must look on the bright side!

My calendars arrived this morning. I've been having Vistaprint calendars made for the last few years as Christmas presents for various members of the family. It was a bit harder to find appropriate pictures this year as we haven't been anywhere, so I spent ages trawling through thousands of images in my 'back catalogue'!

I had 10 made this year, so that's why there are only 10 images in the Blip! Had to leave out the other three!

The mate of a deep-laden tanka,
While en route to the isle of Sri Lanka,
