Tiny Tuesday . . . Twinkling

Heavy rain and wind in the night.  The first action this morning was to rescue the spires of delphiniums in the extra.  They had snapped under their own weight.  The lilies in yesterday's blip are standing firm.  Then I made a batch of mince pies and after braved the supermarket which wasn't as bad as I thought.  Summer seems to be on holiday somewhere else today.  Shame we can't export the rain to Australia.
The macro blip of these wire stars have to stand in for the idea of twinkling.  They actually just shine.  Thanks to Carol for hosting.
