Setting the stage

A big day for us. ATN Community Choir have performed a two hour concert this afternoon in Bingley Arts Centre, and we will repeat it again this evening.
Here is our musical director Chris telling us how we are going to be set on stage (170 of us) before doing a musical sound check. A lot of people to herd especially as in the second half each of the four groups from different locations were to sing individual songs which entailed the others moving off into the background. Improbably it worked!
In the picture here he is holding up ‘Dusty the Donkey’ a bit of an ‘in’ joke as one of our number is always asking to sing ‘Little Donkey’. He was previously a primary school head but I would have thought he would have had enough of it by now! We didn’t sing it.
We came out just after 5.00 pm when all the trees in the centre of Bingley were twinkling beautifully.
A very quick bite to eat and a drink and then back we go!
Then we will really need a drink!
