Merry Christmas!!

We were up not too late after a good night sleep and packed the car again after we had coffee.
We drove to Roachside, where Mum would host the Christmas Diner.
There was a warm fire, damson gin and a collective approach to have all ready.
We had food, exchanged presents and chatted with everyone.

After 5 we hit the road back to Scotland. Neil was doing all the driving!
We stopped at Tebay services for coffee and were home just after 22 pm.

We went with drinks and the remainder of the Scotch eggs and sausage rolls on the couch and watched Wonderwoman before we went to bed.

Tomorrow we need to pack for Berlin and are facing another day of travelling.
But then there will be peace and a relaxed time.
