Meet Bentley..

Bentley is a 9 week old Golden Retriever puppy and absolutely gorgeous. Soft and cuddly but extremely lively - good as gold apart from rather a lot of biting (cutting his teeth) and the occasional attack of the zoomies! He lives with a very good friend and will, I am sure, turn out to be the 'perfect pooch' with his excellent home and breeding.

I had forgotten what hard work a puppy is and how exhausting it can be to look after one. Pepper is only 2+ years old, but already we have erased from our minds the challenging times when she was very new. Never underestimate the hard work necessary to train a dog!

I've been working on a tricky challenge within Photoshop this evening - a bit like training a puppy - it will all work out in the end. I've also had to replace a judge booked for a future competition as he couldn't make it due to an unforeseen event - resolved quite quickly in the end, thank goodness; there's nothing worse than a competition with no judge!

So a quietly busy evening.
