Ready for the Fire!

This beautifully textured log was awaiting it's journey into the house and is likely to be now on the fire! I thought the texture amazing with good light on it as I was taking Pepper out for a walk. I snapped it.

We escaped with very little evidence of Storm Bella last night - a few very large puddles around and that's about it! Covid news good and bad. Cases high but vaccine progress excellent. Light at the end of the tunnel.
