Winter landscapes

I'm hoping to take a few more landscape photos next year, by way of a little challenge to myself.  With that in mind,  I was lucky enough to get given a graduated ND filter as a birthday present.  These three shots taken this afternoon on a walk by the river Avon are my first exercises in exploring what can be done with it, largely in terms of accentuating the sky.
