Faded

The sun was out when I got up (rather late, tsk tsk!) but by the time I was down here it had faded to a whitey grey.  In other words, Bobsblips subject for today's WidWed challenge - weather - was rather hard to find!  However, you can see the lack of rain on windscreens, the half-gleam of light on the bonnets and that pale patch of sky in the top corner, so I hope this illustrates the day's lack of weather well enough.

The reason for the old buses parked outside the Guildhall is that on set days (New Year's Day being the most important perhaps) enthusiasts get their vintage 'King Alfred' buses out of mothballs and give people a chance to ride round the City.  And for some reason this year there were a handful of vintage cars as well.  It looked like a film set!

And of course the Cathedral bells were welcoming the New Year..  Which seems an appropriate point to say, a very happy, healthy and peaceful New Year to you all.  Thanks, Bob, for hosting WidWed yet again..
