"Brothers Box"

Today I tried for a widwed on the subject of 'beauty' and thought St Cross with its long low Brothers' quarters might oblige.  However, I got defeated by January damps.  So here instead is the wonderfully coloured rusting donations box.  Having wisely not tangled with apostrophes it seemed rather a shame that whoever did the lettering (presumably an ancient Brother) went boldly for scare quotes instead, but I guess at this age and stage of rust it just adds to the charm.
