Unicorn

My Saturday walk took place in pouring rain throughout. Thankfully it was a relatively short walk and all downhill - from Kelvingrove Park to Glasgow Green.

The pace was a little slower than I am used to; I think the fact that there were about 80.000 others walking the same route at the same time had something to do with it.

Lots of flags and banners on display, but I liked the ones with the blue unicorns. The unicorn is an ancient royal symbol of Scotland and appears on the current UK Coat of Arms.
