Another Fragrant Winter Blooming Plant

Witch Hazel - Hamamelis mollis - all in full bloom around town now. There's so many lovely hybrids now of all colors. So much fun to see this time of year! And the fragrance is so lovely!

It was a quiet day today, having done a wee bit too much yesterday (I decided to clean the potting shed after our walk yesterday afternoon.) Still awfully congested from the cold I had last week. It's Martin Luther King day here in the US - a federal holiday, so my husband had it off from work. We took the opportunity to go to our favorite local cafe for lunch. 

Meanwhile, I'm trying to make sense of the jumble of almost 40,000 photos on my computer collected over the last 15 years. What a mess! So I'm using an app called "Photo Sweeper" which seems to be working well, although it's taking sweet time trying to delete all the duplicates. Good work for a cold, raw day!
