Abstract Thursday 239 Nature

Today's theme, chosen by our host  Ingeborg, is Nature.  My subject fulfils the brief, although the colours don't!  The original shots were of an oak tree, opposite our house, which was conveniently full of birds when I took my pictures.  The original colour, on such a grey wintry day was so colourless as to appear to be mono, so of course I had to jazz it up with a little 'Heatwave' in Picasa.  The window pane effect was one from  PS Elements and the final image made by layering another shot over the window pane one.
I managed to get out today, as Daughter #1 was able to look after Violet until she was collected mid afternoon.  Firstly I went to the practice to help the manager with the wages calculations as this job is new to her and then on to lunch for my regular fortnightly catch up with my friend C
