In situ.

Not planted yet but you get the idea. No sun today to light these plants up but I think you’ll agree they certainly brighten up a winter garden. The yellow one will have to be pruned a bit and I can see a standard rose there that also needs pruning!

Did my Great Garden Bird Watch this morning for RSPB. Amazing how quickly an hour passes. Not a huge number of birds unfortunately. The Blue tits were the only pair.
In addition there was:
1 Woodpigeon
1 Blackbird
1 Sparrow
1 Great tit
1 Coal tit
1 Robin
1 Goldfinch
Haven’t done it for the last two years as we’ve been in Bristol but it was nice to see them despite the low numbers and good to hear increased birdsong in the mornings lately.
After we had a very pleasant visit to Grace’s friend in the next village (she’s also Chris’s Goddaughter and the Auntie P’s daughter)  and take a gift to their 3 week old baby. I have seen her once already at church but today she had her eyes open and was a bit more vocal! She’s lovely and hopefully Grace will be able to get up to see her herself before too long.
Lazy Saturday afternoon and evening now.
