Mr Jasper

Jasper hangs out in some bushes at the park. He can remain completely hidden beneath thick wiry plants, sleeping or hunting.

People walk past close by and kids play in the park. They're none the wiser that Jasper is there. It's out of the wind and heat, and he can ride incognito.

I set myself the challenge of putting my trainers on and walking to the far side of the park where he hangs out, and back home again. The other part of the challenge was to blip him and make a collage.

We sat in the sun on the steps beside the bushes he 'owns'. Jasper rolled on the concrete and kept an eye out for anything scary.

We walked back and beyond the house, then turned around and came home. My toe is aching now and that's to be expected. It's been a fine effort tonight.

Today's gratitude: For relaxing and tuning out this evening.
