A slice of summer evening

Yesterday was a good lesson to me in concussion management. When I'm tired I can end up mucking around and making poor decisions. That's never great at the best of times, less so at present, especially on top of the start of my Work Trial.

Self-compassion is better than beating myself up. I accepted my disappointment and frustration with myself and chose to gently reset today. I've achieved that and as my day ends I'm tired but the other unpleasant symptoms have gone.

My first tomato is ripening and my wild flowers continue to bring me joy.

Today's gratitude: For a lovely relaxing evening.
