3 (& a half) wise monkeys

In unexpected day. I'd heard G talking last night to Amelia about a mark on her back but didn't see it. She was also very hot, but then who isn't  here. Turned out we'd been thinking about the wrong virus as this morning I got the message that she has chickenpox so that was me at home with both of them, but I'm still not wearing a mask. It also means the plans to go to the Hokkien New Year celebrations tomorrow night will be changed to staying at home and watching the rugby.

But we had s good day, and the 'patient' seems unaffected but there is RM100+ worth medicines to relieve the symptoms. The next question is, when will Olivia get it?

So today they played and coloured. At lunch we walked up to the top of the hill where the Bukit Kiara jungle starts to see if we could see monkeys. We saw a whole troupe, walking along a condo perimeter fence, more than 15. That amused the girls. Then back down the hill so I could dash in and out of Jaya to get eggs for the cupcake making.

Later we went next door to see the other grandparents who are off again in a week to London and not back till nearly the end of March.

We had more tossing of Yee Sang, traditional this time with fish, then La Juceria bowls and finally sang belated Happy Birthday to Kee Fun..

Not the day I'd planned, but a good one and the monkeys were great.
