Storm Damage.....

Last night, we had a front come through that was very powerful.  South of there were tornadoes that took out huge oak trees and dropped them on rooves.    Here, in OTOW, we had branches and limbs from trees downed, all over the place.   The winds blew at a reported, 70 miles per hour.   There was torrential rain and  violent thunderstorms.   Fortunately, it came in and out in about an hour.
Today as the girls and I were walking, we saw tree truck after tree truck moving through the streets on clean up duty.   Fortunately, my tree was fine, leaving small branches and twigs all over.    My clean  up was easy, but many others had a lot of work to do.  Today's blip is one of the trucks, using a cherry picker to pick up huge branches and piles of limbs.
But ,considering what others lived through, we were very, very lucky.
