Hope for the Future

Easy Blip today as this is the only photo I've taken, as usual didn't remember my camera till the meal was over. Our three young people from Évora Uni, on a week's mission, the last of three years coming here, shame, have loved having them every time. They were enthusiastic about the meal, so didn't have much room left for Julia's cheesecake (that she made last time). The lad, Francisco, is the brother of Inês, who ate with us last year.

Now off to church with them, and then to the drama they're putting on at the fire station.

Gratefuls:
- for wonderful young people, hope for the future of this world, and the privilege of having them in our home for a few hours
- the way they've included the Roma while they've been here, even making a point of going to their camp to invite them to the drama tonight; wonder if they'll come...
- good conversation - the two girls are studying to become vets, and the lad something agricultural - about farming practices, soil loss, olive tree care, and more. Asked them what advice they had for us in how to serve Mourão, their answer was to hang out in cafés more - ha!
