Sisters

Another busy day. Firstly the weather is not great here, certainly not hot, sunny Australian summer weather. More typical Melbourne, changeable, 4 seasons in a day weather. Very windy, cloudy and never above the mid 20's. But today was a day of meeting people and being inside.

Started with a birthday party for 2 year old Mia who is my cousin T's great granddaughter. Many of the family were there including A from Geelong, my late uncle's sister in law who was really surprised to see me.

After party food (which I tried to resist) and cake we moved on to Frankston to another birthday, this time J's friend A. There was a group of friends in a venue full of our demographic drinking wine, listening to past hits live and eating chips, on a Sunday afternoon. If course being with J we stayed longer than originally b scheduled so back in Cranbourne North it was a quick turnaround before going out for s Greek meal (more chips) with J and R, from Dundee..

Themes of the day were internationl travel, many plans are afoot, and the virus. Too dangerous it is said to go to both SE Asia and Chinatown in Box Hill. I'm becoming the resident virus denier.

Australians eat early so we were the last customers when we left at 9.30. Home to phone mum, included in my Optus Sim, before bed and R4.
