For the last year and a bit, when Lola has her daily walk on the moor, she almost always meets another Golden Retriever called Tilly, and they have become best pals.  Milly is white like a fluffy polar bear, whereas Lola's coat is much redder.  They certainly show the variation in GR coats.  

Of course during these walks D has also gotten to know Milly's owners T & V and has found a new golf buddy in T.  We also discovered they are almost neighbours.  Well their house is on the street behind ours.   By the end of the walk today David had invited T & V for coffee tomorrow morning so they can show us their new car.  They liked ours so much they've bought the same model.  

I'm always nervous when people buy something on my/our recommendation (especially a big purchase like a car!) incase they end up hating it.  I really do hope they enjoy driving it.  I'll find out tomorrow.

Weather snowing on and off here today.  Alan was going to Edinburgh to see The Lion King.  At one point I thought the weather would prevent him going but he and Vickie braved it.  

The traffic was even worse than normal due to the Queensferry Crossing being closed.  They got there eventually.  Alan enjoyed it but they left before the end as one of the young actors hurt themselves on stage so the show was halted for a little while.  

Alan was really tired (think he might be coming down with a cold) so they left early.  Just as well as the traffic on the way out was just as bad.  Almost midnight then they got back.
