Next stop Antarctica

Made up for the influence of the last 3 days by going on a walk with small J. It was quite a long drive to Bridgewater Bay but we had a great 2 hour walk of about 6 Kms up and down to the colonies of Australian and NZ fur seals. The weather was good, warm and not to sunny. We were lucky the promised storms manifested themselves further east.

Then back to Portland for some food and a beer, and a drive out to a lookout and then the lighthouse. It was very reminiscent of the one in 'Round the Twist', though that was actually b filled in Airey's Inlet further east on the Gt Ocean Rd.

Back via Tower Hill Reserve. Didn't see any emud or koalas although earlier we had seen 3 kangaroos.

Had a wee tour of Warrnambool looking at homes then 8 for tea tea with M his new partner A and the kids A and L. Chips!

Back to Terang to watch Rick Stein and the Hairy Bikers.

Must pack. Sydney tomorrow.
