No vases were broken during the photographing

of today's blip ................. & breathe. I did swap the broken tulip vase over with the glass of real tulips, but decided to leave the window uncleaned. The inside is still clean obviously, but outside it does'nt look as they've been cleaned at all. Living close to the open face clay pit means the rainfall often leaves the window panes with tiny white flecks. No red roses for today's Flower Friday blip here :- ( I did try.
A mucky but fun walk over the heath with Lola, Bob at home chillin'. He's laid down on the sofa watching me with his chin resting on the arm as I sit here typing. It's a dogs world.

Beryl, a 100% Knightonian was laid to rest today. Mum & I went to her funeral this afternoon followed by refreshments at the local hostelry. Lots of familiar, plus a few unfamiliar, until I asked the question .. "I'm sure I know you but..??" older faces of locals .. It was a lovely send off, the church virtually full. I escorted Mum home, came back here walked the dogs, then back to exercise Indie for Mum.
Hubby came down to collect some of my stuff to take home in advance of the folks coming home from their hols in Mexico tomorrow. I hope they manage to get through on the train as rough seas often mean the stretch between Exeter & Teignmouth being closed due to the track at Dawlish being so close to the sea wall.

Short & sweet today. I'm off to the Greek islands now with Julia Bradbury, I quite fancy a couple of months back packing around the Greek islands, along with my stash of sea sickness tablets. Kalispera!
