The Edge of the Wold

By gladders

A convenient view of the sunset

Our home is sheltered in the lea of Arnside Knott, and it is relatively calm after the winds of the last couple of days. By contrast, standing on the prom looking down the Kent estuary, I was blasted by a freezing gale of the tail end of Storm Dennis. I was grateful for my usual place of convenience that gave me enough shelter to hold the camera just still enough to take a photo of the sun making its last appearance of the day before it set behind Grange.

Earlier in the day, I fulfilled my usual roadie duties for Wifie's Qi Gong class, and very good it was too. En route we stopped in Milnthorpe to collect and then leave a small bottle for an investigation.
