The red-bellied woodpecker was...

...looking for a snack! And so were the bluejay, downy woodpecker, nuthatch, chickadee, cardinal, and titmouse. He was quick to fly off, but I was quicker, and I captured this picture of him as he checked out the birdseed buffet. I posted photos of the others in my SmugMug gallery, if you want to check them out. It was a very cold day (22 degrees F), and they were all looking for something to eat on a snowy day.
