Yes, today has been another unusual day with the alarm ringing at the usual time (6:30) but in a hotel room in Dundee. 

Having got to bed about 01:15 after last night’s ice hockey, the alarm was not welcome. 

A swift breakfast was followed by a swift drive homewards, and then to the Office. 

The work day was a struggle after so little sleep, but it was my choice to go to a late night game in the middle of the week. It was a great game, ending as a 3-3- draw. The teams’ game in Edinburgh a few weeks ago was a 5-5 draw. 

My rare confrontation with rush hour traffic this morning made me think of this…
