An ordinary life....

Lola's new best friend

I don't know where today has gone.  It's disappeared in the blink of an eye.

Of course the highlight was a visit from fellow blipper Scotguide, who came for lunch followed by an enjoyable afternoon blethering.  Time just flew.  And of course Lola was delighted to meet a new face and make another best friend.  Thankfully Scotguide is a doggy person as Lola was being her usual personal space invader!

Scotguide left at the back of four and I was full of good intentions to get on with some chores, but we've been trying to get some holiday cottages booked for the summer, so I turned my attention to that.

Didn't get very far.  The ones I liked were either booked or didn't accept dogs.  Thankfully David has identified two lovely cottages, one near Tain and one in the Peak District.  Think we may book a week (or 10 days if we can) at each of them.  We feel that's long enough to be away from Alan and the team at any one time.  Maybe next year we'll be brave and book two weeks :-)
