Preserving a Christmas Bouquet

At least I'm up and around the house today but I have to be honest and admit that I still don't feel 'top hole.' I think it's going to be a little while before I feel back to normal. 

I'd wanted to do a flat lay for some time and have been frustrated by the lack of a suitable background light source. I got my small light table out today and am fairly happy with the results but there's obviously no light at the edge.

A dismal, rainy start to the day but the afternoon has proved glorious.
