New friend

I don't know if the new friend is a a boy or a girl. He/she is young like the girl friend, who also plays with this cute, fluffy arrangement.

Just like the girl friend, new friend comes with a collar and bell. It's a very different cat compared to Jasper's long, lean build and Skye's oriental heritage.

This little dude has a large fluffy tail and furry ears and feet that suggest Maincoon or Norwegian Forest Cat heritage. Those little legs appear short but maybe it's all the fur.

He/she and Jasper play nicely together. This evening I heard the collar bell and turned to see it running out the door carrying Jasper's possum tail. Hilarious!

Jasper trotted after it looking puzzled. Apparently he/she nicks the girlfriend's toys too.

My day was smooth and the inviting balmy evening drew me to the garden.

Today's gratitude: For the air-conditioning on the bus. I persevered with emails to a grumpy manager and it's finally fixed. Only took a month ;-)
