Robinson and the Newlands Round

A gorgeous day - a good chance for a long walk. We parked at Little Town, walked up Robinson, Hindsgarth, Dale Head, High Spy, Maiden Moor and Catbells. 11.3 miles, and 3500 feet of ups and downs.

The wind was pretty strong, and although the temperature wasn't particularly low, it felt cold at times.

Loads of photo opportunities, but I did like the way the sun was backlighting this tree against the dark valley, with the fells running through to Blencathra in the background.

Felt pretty knackered afterwards.
