Day trip to Aberdeen

Plans to collect Miss PHL moves quicker than anticipated for many reasons so after a quick tuna and olive salad for lunch I hopped in the car and headed off. Quick pit stop at Tesco for petrol and off I went. Stopped at Tesco before the bridge as it was raining and I had no screen wash.

Made it to Aberdeen in time to meet K after she had finished up with her very urgent drama casting - tried to suggest it could have been postponed but apparently not.

Anyway threw clothes, toiletries, washing and food etc into bags and got the car packed. Slightly concerned about her flat mate who needs to be collected by her father but he’s not planning to do so until Sunday - from what she said her parents aren’t as concerned as I am, even suggesting she should stay and carry on her bar job. Hoping they have reconsidered over night.

Stopped to pick up fish and chips for dinner as we didn’t leave till after 7 and what with one thing and another we didn’t get to the house until 10.30. Unpacked the car and dumped until morning. Finally sat down with a wee glass of wine at 11 and only just remembered a blip at midnight - EB of some of the bags which I’m back blipping on Thursday morning.

So relieved we’re all in the one place. No plans to go anywhere for a few? days unless it’s into the back garden or round the block.
