Peaceful

A gentle stroll along the seafront this evening after a day of mixed emotions.

Unsurprisingly drew a blank when calling up the plumber, builder and electrician re work on the bungalow. Then purging the car of rubbish and muck I uncovered one of Jamie’s lost (expensive and very important) ear plugs .... but am afraid the other is gone for good. Next a visit to the bungalow to assess how I feel about going ahead at this time of crisis. It’s empty now and feels like somewhere that really needs some tlc. The visit steadied my nerves though but also found me considering the option of renegotiating the price in light of current economic uncertainty.

The evening stroll was just what I needed.
