A surprise visit

What a welcomed little visitor, even though Ruby only came as far as our front steps and we stood well back, nevertheless it was good to hear her chatter, and laughter, Mark her Dad had brought her down on the back of his Harley, two happy faces stood at the gate, Ruby initially opened the gate and was one step off rushing up the pathway and into our arms, as is the usual norm for our little gem, but she stopped herself just in time, and slowly closed the gate and stood on the top step, she smiled above her mask that she had in her pocket, her mum had made it for her, she did take it off to chat. Ruby is quite enjoying her daddy teaching her with school work during the week, after the Easter holidays Rubys school is sending everyone home schooling  packs until the schools reopen, but all in all she is enjoying being home.
So good to see Ruby & Mark today. 

We went our usual walk around the Marina this morning, a few more people out than usual i must say, but there was still enough distance between everyone.
As from Midnight tonight we will be closing borders off for any W.A citizens who want to get back home, thats tough measures but they have had enough time to travel back, i fear we will not hear the last of this next step of drastic measures to stop this virus, numbers have reduced in new cases, showing optimistic signs of slowing down, a long way to go yet.
