05042020 23rd Corona isolation day

All of us out on the yard. Well the dogs and I were waiting for the floor to dry.

Before washing the floor I baked. I made what we call dry cakes in Finland: banana chocolate and carrot cake. And one bread. Now I'm out of flour. That's been hard to find in stores, so it might be that it's gonna be a while before I can bake again. But 2/3 went into freezer, so we'll manage.

Rest of the day has been spent by training and talking with friends and now watching tv.

Spain has surpassed 130 000 corona cases. Positive note is that deaths are slowing down. As are new positive cases. Clearly the isolation is somewhat working. In Valencian autonomous region we had about 280 new cases, of which about 40 were health care workers.

Still people trying to come to coastal towns with packed cars. I hope the roads are blocked. (Emergency vehicles of course can go through.) Balcony policing is growing strong as people are getting sick of other people doing whatever they want. And they are starting to tell people to call the police for whatever nastiness they see. I don't know if they are doing it already, but the talk is there. We are all getting frustrated not being able to go out to the nature or see friends of basically anything.

Well, I talked with a friend (back in Finland) and poor girl, she was having a bad day. Last night her son had spilled cola over the play station and today over her Mac and he also managed to break his phone. At the same time her dad (that she takes care of) had peed the sofa. He's supposed to wear diapers as he's not able to go to toilet fast enough. So the total value of that all 4700€. Over the weekend. Madre Mia. I'm afraid she's gonna burn herself out with these two... For real. Her dad is in bad shape, but they can't take him into a facility because of the certain virus, because he's safer in her house. She's already hurt her back trying to lift him up from the floor. So I shouldn't complain about anything - ever - again.
