Pair Of Chaffinches

A day of phone calls, emails, tears, dissatisfaction. NO! Keep upbeat! The Man worked outside doing a splendid job on the patio with the pressure washer.. The sun shone. The garden is going to look good this summer.

I wondered why the birds were missing from my view across the table. Then I heard my neighbour's pressure washer running in the front garden. He'd been working outside, too. 

In the early evening  a pair of chaffinches came to dine on the seed feeder. 

So, a fortnight of lockdown and our Prime Minister in intensive care. Keep safe, my friends!


Lockdown Day 14  Good thing today:  Half of my patio is clean!
