MCO day 22

What more to say. This morning was difficult. Both girls were tired and at different times tearful. Meimei was not in the mood to do anything so I gave her the Duplo to play with. We have so few 'playgroup' supplies here.

Then after lunch, on the balcony, after a bit of time with playdough Meimei slept in my bed for 3 hours and Jiejie spent most of the afternoon meticulously colouring in the mindfulness eggs were printed from the Twinkl site. She is very careful.

The parents were working in their bedroom and I sat in the balcony sewing and listening to the rumbling of distant thunder, which despite the huge black clouds over Bangsar never came to anything. It's been very cloudy the last two nights so no moon here.

Our basil (I bought it in Village Grocer in January) is our canary. If you can smell the basil you're ok.

A teatime meeting organising May's P&R agenda. Who knows what life will be like then?

Things continue here. The MCO is being reviewed on Friday, we expect it to be extended. It should be. Cases are still to fall. More draconian measures are being put in place to enforce the MCO, more roadblocks, barbed wire barriers round areas with Enhanced MCOs to combat declared infections but none of these affects us here.

We have 3 meals a day, beer (back to Asahi when the Heineken is finished) and now we have Digestive biscuits and Lindt 70% dark chocolate.

22 days gone, 6 to go?
