A lovely day

The sun was shining and the temperature was in the mid-60's today, so that made it a perfect day to go out.  Lex came by with a mask she'd made for me (Extra) and we went for a short walk around the building.  It was wonderful to be outside, feel the breeze, and see the flowers and trees.  When we came back, Lex stayed in the living room while I took my first solo shower, safely thank goodness.  We kept our distance and wore our masks, practicing physical isolation yet being in each other's company.  It was wonderful.

These are the tulips sent to me from the grower by my blipfriend Tookie.  There are 20 stems and I had a hard time finding a container large enough to hold them.  They're so pretty to look at and they have a pleasant fragrance.  Flowers don't often cross my threshold, so this is a real treat.  And I feel so grateful to have such a generous friend as Tookie.
