Back to normal

Weather, that is.  The last couple of warm sunny days were an aberration and our weather has returned to normal, significantly cooler and cloudier than previously.  One would not be able to see Mt. Rainier today - this is what was visible instead.

I put in some time making beef barley soup again today, but added too much extra water toward the end, so I'm trying to bolster the flavor.  But it is a huge potful, so it will last me a good long time.  More laundry and kitchen cleanup are in the offing for this evening, but I've made time to put my feet up between tasks.

I hope all of you were able to enjoy your isolated days doing something that made your heart sing.
