Happy boys

Another Twinsday and it was a delightful one.  The twins become more differentiated in temperament each time I see them.  Sam is the adventurous, open one - he loves to smile and have folks smile back at him, and he is the one who tries out the new motor skills first.  Today I saw him climb this staircase (Extra) smoothly and without hesitation, having figured out how to do it himself.  Max sees Sam leading the way and quickly picks up skills, although he still finds the stairs a bit daunting.  Max is the more cautious  one; he always seems to be considering his next move.  Here the boys are dancing with Manda as a lively tune is playing on her phone.

They are reaching for many things they weren't able to get to before and need constant watching so as not to hurt themselves or the furniture.  Sam managed to wrap a lamp cord around himself and pull the lamp out into the room.  When Lex took the lamp upstairs, Sam followed.

Already looking forward to next Sunday.  And then will be their first birthday party on the 24th!
