Seeing Beyond Looking

Thanking all workers

This morning, I could have put up several different photos from my morning walk, but I've chosen this one taken at 6.20 am. This young man at his computer is just one of those people making our life easier. This was taken in the Swiss Radio and Television Building.   This is where the radio broadcasts take place and where we get updates on the present situation.

So a huge thank you to all those people that still need to go out to work because they help us all during this period. Those of us who remain at home, because we must, have every reason to be grateful. Of course there are good days and days that seem not so good, but it's on these not so good days that we can think of all those out there going to work every single day. They keep things running, sometimes with great risk to their own health and lives.

Wishing you a happy day with a heart full of gratitude!

I wanted this one to be my main photo, but showing a devoted worker was more important.

Progressive deconfinement in Switzerland announced:
The light at the end of the tunnel, but it will have to be adapted to how the virus reacts.
There are three steps planned:
1) Monday 27 April when hairdressers, physiotherapists and doctor's surgeries, garden centres, crèches, food shops selling other items can be opened.
2) Monday 11 May: primary schools re-open, outdoor markets can take place and certain shops can re-open.
3) Monday 8 June: secondary and professional schools

All these measures will be adjusted according the how the virus is regressing or increasing.  Everything is tentative.   Bars and restaurants are to remain closed.
