Padlock And Chain

Out just before 6 a.m. today - no frost this morning. A lovely sunny start to the day (indeed it has remained fine all day).

My first blip chance was this padlock and chain hanging on an open gate. I like the sun catching the chain links and highlighting the rust - in contrast to the shiny lock. A nice bit of colour provided by the lichen too.

The second shot (extra) made me smile - the twisty stub of a branch is creating a shadow that looks like a bird in flight - well at least I thought so!

Some digging and tidying took place in the garden and a delivery from Morrison’s arrived - pretty much everything we ordered - except dishwasher salt! Fridge and freezer stuff all sanitised and stashed - cupboard stuff is in quarantine in the garage.

Mrs madwill is at the studio for the afternoon - packing orders from the web site! Well on the way to being able to cover the rent for the unit this month!
