Nasty...

...weather! I had to run back into the house & change to my winter jacket before we left. Last night I searched online for any stores that had yeast in stock, just to see if I could find any, but no luck initially. Somehow with all the clicking I ended up on the Red Star Yeast company site (headquarters in Milwaukee) & I was just clicking stuff and reading, & I came across a list of some stores they’d recently stocked, one of which still had yeast available. That store is only a 20 minute drive from our house so we drove over today. I wore a mask—fortunately most everyone had one on—& there weren’t many people there. I didn’t dawdle & just beelined to the baking area.....where I found the holy grail!!! Yeast!! I just took one, although I’d be lying if I didn’t say it DID momentarily cross my mind to take another since it was so hard to find, but I figured there were others who needed it too so I’ll just be happy with one! Had a lengthy phone call with a long-time friend, saw the girls today at the end of the driveway, and got an instant message from another friend so caught up on lots of news. Other than that I’ve been a couch potato! :)))
