Bee in Flight

Today’s picture is of a bee in flight on the apple blossom on our Discovery tree. It is not as good as it might be and took a long time to get a reasonable picture. There were a lot of bees buzzing about on all the blossom on our trees, but none were still long enough to get a picture. This one took so long to take off, no doubt by the amount of pollen on his legs, that I was able to get this picture.  
 
I spent some time this morning clearing the kitchen windows inside as well as the both sides of the upstairs back bedroom windows and balcony doors, which I can reach from the balcony. Before our quarantine I was looking for a window cleaner to do all the outside windows, but that is on hold until this crisis is under control.
 
There seem to be a lot of people walking down our lane today, they are not all social distancing and clearly do not all live in the same household. Do they think it does not apply to them!! Getting off my soapbox now.

The temperature today was eighteen degrees Celsius at GMT noon.
