Big Horse

A slow morning, but a promise of a walk in the glorious  sunshine with TT.  We eventually set off once he had done a few jobs in the garden.  He took me out along the river on Wednesday and we headed out that way again.  But today, we passed here and kept going until we reached Hailes Castle.   We then walked up the track to Traprain Law and then  kept going up Traprain Law.  We had amazing views from the top, all around East Lothian in every direction.  We found a spot to shelter from the wind and had a packet of crisps – which were very welcome.  We didn’t hang around too long and descended quickly back to the road and then headed back home, via the road.  Thankfully the road wasn’t very busy with the main users being cyclists.

Once home TT and BB cut the grass in the back garden, which meant I was on tea.

TT and I were both quite weary after our long walk, our legs needed a rest.

We passed this horse on our walk – a magnificent beast.  The extras show the views from Traprain law – the first to the Bass Rock, the second to the cement works!
