Perch

Sorry, this is massively zoomed and cropped. One of our local pair of kestrels perching on the building that blocks our view of the sea. Glorious day today, the wind has dropped and it was true sunlounging weather, so that's what I did (in the shade). Picked the last of the loquats and roasted them with some bullet-hard plums S had bought from Mercadona (plums?? in April??). I also made more lemonade; it has become a staple in our household, and if this weather continues will be used to make tinto de verano soon.

We are all getting very excited about our outings tomorrow. S has been planning it like a military operation. Meanwhile we've been following the news trying to figure out what is and is not allowed. We can go to the beach! But not in the sea! Unless we are surfing. Or in a canoe (what on earth is the logic of this?). S is already considering mail ordering a collapsible canoe. Mystère just shrugs. He gets to stay out as long as he likes and goes where he likes (although he does have a (roughly) 8 pm to 6 am curfew).

Edit: two years ago today.
